About

Hello,

You almost certainly know who I am anyway. But since there is nothing more enjoyable than talking about oneself… I am Neil Cameron, I study on a five year course called Engineering Design at the University of Bristol in a damp corner of South West England (pirate and cider country). Obviously I love uni and all of the differential equations it involves, but the real gems of university life are societies friends and excessive coffee consumption in that order. Yes I know, a bit harsh on the friends but they will have to put up with it. And no, I didn’t mean excessive beer consumption.

I spend my weekends doing stuff with the kitesurfing society and go rock climbing if I can possibly fit it in. For some reason I have a million and one other hobbies as well – you will probably be able to guess at a few of them by reading this blog. Sometimes I even find time to do work, like my somewhat cryptic fifth year project in collaboration with Rolls-Royce for using LNG regasification to desalinate sea water and increase the efficiency of power generation.
