Travel planning
It has finally begun. Equipped with my Lonely Planet guides to SE Asia on a shoe string and Japan on a considerably longer shoe string I have finally begun working out some rudimentary plans for the summer. Fortunately I have decided to look into budgeting after I have decided where I want to go and what I want to do. I believe this is the correct approach to make me save money properly.
The pressure is on to choose a hub airport so I can get the out and return flights in the January sales and I guess I am going to have to at least look into money to do this – it would be somewhat embarrassing to book for four months and run out of money after two and a half weeks. If any of you have and suggestions then feel free to comment. Cata, do you have any idea where you will be and when??

I will be in Singapore for most of September with a week or 10 days in Thailand… maybe a weekend in KL…. But yeah, september I’ll be around. Haven’t planned any of the specifics yet
